Humidores

Seasoning & Humidity
Sazonar tu humidor

Every humidor ships with its own step-by-step seasoning guide — pick your model below, or start with the general seasoning guide.

Seasoning in winter or a dry climate? Raise humidity faster by adding Winter to the Hydro Tray (or Hydro Channel) with a small dab of regular solution alongside it — and if you need an extra push, a shot glass of winter solution set inside the humidor will spike it further.

Having trouble keeping the humidity between 65% - 70% (humidity too low)?

If you are using our Hydro System (or any gel-based system), the best way to raise humidity is to use the Winter + Dry Climate solution that comes with our Afiliación a Klaro.

After you completely fill the Hydro Tray (or Hydro Channel) with solution, rotate your cigars every day for five days. This will even out the humidity and allow it to increase faster.

What humidity level should I keep my humidor at?

What factors affect humidity?

For instance, the ratio of distilled water to propylene glycol in your Hydro Tray (or Hydro Channel) — the more water, the higher the humidity.

How many cigars, and how dry they are. If you add a lot of dry cigars, humidity will be lower. A relatively full humidor is typically easier to maintain over time.

First, when seasoning it's perfectly OK for the humidor to be 80% or higher. Once the humidity settles into the 65 - 72% range after seasoning, it's safe to add your cigars.

The easiest way to lower the humidity is to remove the Hydro Tray (or Hydro Channel) and set it aside for about 48 hours or until the humidity gets to where you want it (75% or so if seasoning).

As usual, you'll also want to try and keep the temperature as close to 70ºF as possible. Too high and your cigars will absorb too much mo

Do acrylic humidors like the Felix or Cylindor need to be seasoned?

No — that's part of their appeal. Acrylic and glass don't absorb moisture, and the small amount of cedar inside isn't enough to meaningfully pull humidity, so you can skip the seasoning process entirely. Just add your humidification — these airtight models pair perfectly with our humidity packs — give it a day to stabilize, and load your cigars.

Resolución de Problemas
I seasoned for two weeks, but my humidity is stuck in the low 60s. Is my humidor defective?

Almost never — a stuck-low reading is nearly always the environment, not the box. If your home air is dry (winter heating, air conditioning, or an arid climate), moisture escapes faster than the standard mix can replace it. Switch to our Winter + Dry Climate Solution, and refresh your gel crystals if they've been through several refills — over-saturated crystals lose their ability to release moisture.

Also worth a 60-second check: confirm the lid or door closes flush and your hygrometer battery is fresh. In rare cases the hygrometer itself is off — here's how to test and recalibrate it. Still stuck after that? Read our troubleshooting guide or email us — we'll get you sorted.

I over-seasoned and it's reading 80%+. How do I bring it down?

Easy fix. Prop the lid open for a few hours and remove some of the solution from the tray, then let the humidor settle — you're aiming for 65–72% before cigars go in. If your cigars are already inside and feel soft or draw tight, they've absorbed the excess; crack the lid for an hour or two a day and they'll return to form over several days. Avoid drying things out too aggressively — big humidity swings are harder on cigars than a slow correction. In rare cases — very humid climates without central air running — a two-way humidity pack or a small dehumidifier in the room can help hold things steady.

My humidity dropped 10–15% right after I added my cigars. Did I do something wrong?

Not at all — that dip is expected. Your cigars are absorbing moisture themselves, so the whole system is finding a new equilibrium. Give it two to three weeks to stabilize before making changes, and resist the urge to flood the tray with extra solution in the meantime — that's how over-humidification happens.

The bottom of my humidor is perfect, but the top tray reads dry. Why?

This is completely normal — in taller, multi-level humidors (like the Luca cabinet or the Octodor), humidity naturally stratifies, and the levels closest to the humidification source read higher. Three fixes: rotate your cigars between levels every couple of weeks, leave small gaps between rows so air can circulate, and add a Canal Hidráulico near the upper shelves to even things out.

There are white spots on my cedar tray — what are they, and how do I clean them?

Usually nothing to worry about. A crystal-like shimmer on cigars is typically harmless plume — a sign of well-kept tobacco. White or fuzzy patches on the wood itself usually mean humidity has been sitting above 72–75% for a stretch — a sign of over-seasoning. Pull the Hydro Tray (or Hydro Channel) out of the humidor so the humidity can come back down into the 65–72% range, then wipe the cedar with a cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol and let the tray air out until the scent dissipates. Give nearby cigars a quick once-over too. If the spots keep returning, email us and we'll sort it out with you.

My drawers stick (or slide around) since I seasoned. Is that normal?

Yes — wood breathes. At storage humidity, drawers and trays swell ever so slightly, and our tolerances are tight, so a snug drawer right after seasoning is common. It typically relaxes as your humidor stabilizes. If a runner stays stubborn, a light rub of paraffin (an unscented candle works) along the contact edge smooths it right out.

Why is the lid so hard to open?

That resistance is the seal doing exactly what you paid for. Our lids and doors close against a gasket that holds an airtight seal, and breaking that suction can take a firm pull — on lighter desktop models, some owners steady the base with one hand. A tight lid means minimal humidity loss; a loose lid

Hygrometer & Calibration
My hygrometer is reading 20% when I don't think that's right - what should I do?

This happens on occasion — a 20% reading means the sensor has been oversaturated.

1. Take the hygrometer out of your humidor and place it near a fan to dry it out for several hours.

2. Colóquelo de nuevo dentro del humidor.

¿Cómo calibro mi higrómetro digital?

Our hygrometers come pre-calibrated from the factory on equipment far more accurate than any at-home method. Most of the time a reading that seems off is really just uneven humidity inside the humidor — a hygrometer sitting right on top of the Hydro Tray (or Hydro Channel) will read higher, especially early in seasoning before your cigars are in, and it won't fully even out until the humidor has been at least half full of cigars for a few weeks.

Before you recalibrate, one caution: on some models the hygrometer can only be recalibrated once, so confirm it's actually reading wrong first.

To test and recalibrate the front digital hygrometer:

  2. Seal it in a zip-top bag with a salt solution — a small cap of table salt dampened with a few drops of water — or a 75% Boveda pack. If you have a second hygrometer, add it to the bag to confirm the reading.
  3. After about 12 hours the bag will settle at 75% humidity. If your hygrometer doesn't read 75%, press and hold the button on the back for about 5 seconds — it will jump to 75%, recalibrating it. Do this right after opening the bag, before room air shifts the reading.
  4. Pop it back into your humidor — you're good to go.

Newer hygrometers use two LR44 batteries sitting side by side — replace both at the same time. Models made before 2026 use a single CR2. We made the swi

See our video instruction on how to replace it, or follow these steps:

- Saque el higrómetro empujándolo desde el interior del humidor.

• Pop out the back cover and remove the old battery or batteries.

• Drop in the fresh set.

- Y volver a ponerlo todo junto.

Mi humidor llegó con mi higrómetro perdido

Most of our models come with an embedded hygrometer, so you will find the digital display at the front of the humidor. To turn it on, remove the plastic pull-tab that separates the battery from the contacts.

If your hygrometer is completely missing from the front of the humidor, please contact us immediately at support@caseelegance.com. Le enviaremos la pieza que falta.

How do I remove the built-in hygrometer to change the battery?

It's snug on purpose — the hygrometer sits in a rubber gasket that keeps the front of the humidor airtight. To remove it, open the lid and push the unit out gently and evenly from the inside. It takes more pressure than you'd expect, and that's okay — pushing from behind won't damage it. Never pry from the front with a tool. It runs on two LR44 batteries (a single CR2032 on models made before 2026), and the display presses right back into its gasket when you're done.

My built-in hygrometer disagrees with another hygrometer I put inside. Which one is right?

Possibly both. Every hygrometer (ours included) is accurate to about ±3%, so two perfectly working units can legitimately read a few points apart. Placement matters too: the front-mounted display sits in a gasket at the wall of the humidor, while a loose hygrometer in the middle of the box samples different air — here's why placement changes the reading. If the gap is bigger than about 5%, calibrate both against the same reference (the salt test or a 75% calibration pack) and trust the calibrated one.

My hygrometer screen is blank — or reading something crazy like 20%. What do I do?

A blank screen is almost always the batteries — swap in a fresh set (two LR44s on newer hygrometers, a single CR2032 on models made before 2026). A wildly low reading (like 20% inside a seasoned humidor) usually means the sensor got over-saturated; take it out and let it rest in open air near a fan for a few hours, then recalibrate. If it still won't behave, email us with your order number — we stand behind our hygrometers and we'll make it right.

Maintenance & Refills

The seasoning process can initially take 7 - 10 days and a full bottle of solution in our Hydro Tray (or Hydro Channel) to reach 65%. After adding cigars, it's likely the humidity will drop 10 - 15% or so. You'll need an additional bottle of solution and another 2 - 3 weeks to re-stabilize at 65% - 68%. This isn't because the box isn't holding humidity, but because the cigars are absorbing the moisture, and humidity likes to stay at the bottom of the box so it takes time for the humidity to rise enough to be caught by the sensor.

If you live in a very dry state - southern California, Nevada, Arizona, etc., or during the winter you can expect to have to add Solución de invierno more often to the Hydro Tray. These states can hover around 30% humidity so you will be constantly fighting dry conditions. It won't be uncommon to have to maintain your humidor by refilling the tray weekly or even more often.

In more humid states during the summer, you may only have to refill your Hydro Tray with humidor solution once or twice a month after the box has been thoroughly seasoned. During the winter months, it's likely your box will need more maintenance as it tends to be much drier during the winter.

It works the other way too: if you're having issues with high humidity, we recommend taking out the tray completely while the humidity goes down.

The crystal beads turn into a thick paste when mixed with the liquid, and should be replaced about twice a year — once heading into summer and once heading into winter.

Si usted es un Klaro Miembro, your annual kit includes two gel packets — one for each refresh.

How do I know if I need the Regular or the Winter Solution?

The general rule: if your climate is warm and humid — think Florida, the Gulf Coast, the tropics — go with the Solución regular.

If you live in the desert, or your winters run cold and dry, go with the Solución de invierno.

Lla Afiliación a Klaro includes four bottles of humidor solution, which is about what you'll need for yearly maintenance of your humidor. It has two variations: Normal Climate (2 Regular + 2 Winter) and Dry Climate (4 Winter). Which one should you get?

If you live in a desert area (like southwest US), high altitude (like Colorado), or fairly cold and deep inland (the Prairies), we recommend getting the Dry Climate Membership, as you may need the stronger solution bottles all year round. Other

If you already have a Membership and want to change it, or if you are still unsure which one to get, contact us at support@caseelegance.com.

¿Dónde puedo comprar más cristales de gel?

Nuestro Afiliación a Klaro includes at least 2 packs of gel crystals — one for each of your twice-a-year refreshes. It includes solution, crystals and a battery replacement for the whole year.

Can I use Boveda or other humidity packs instead of the Klaro solution system?

You can. Two-way humidity packs work in our humidors, and we even offer an Integra humidity pack membership designed for our airtight models like the Felix, Cylindor and Smoke Can. For our cedar humidors, though, we recommend the Klaro solution system — it's refillable, more economical over time, and it's the system every humidor we make is engineered, tested and tuned around. That last part matters: we can stand behind exactly how your humidor performs with our solution, while third-party products are outside our control. If you do prefer packs, use 84% packs for seasoning and 65–72% packs for storage, and you can lift out the Hydro Tray (or Hydro Channel) to reclaim the space.

What exactly is the 'Hydro Tray' my instructions mention?

The Hydro Tray is the plastic humidification reservoir that sits in the bottom of your humidor — the container you fill with gel crystals and solution. Some instruction sheets also call it the 'solution box'; same thing. Your gel packet ships inside the tray or Hydro Channel, so check there before assuming it's missing. Need a spare or replacement? The Hydro Tray is available here.

Do I have to take all my cigars out to refill the humidification system?

On most models, no — the Hydro Tray lifts out and Hydro Channels slide free without disturbing your collection. On certain models you will need to move a few cigars, and that's actually by design: rotating your cigars is an important part of keeping humidity even, so the occasional shuffle at refill time does your collection good. And on cabinets like the Luca, we've built the humidification into its own dedicated section, so refills never touch your cigars at all.

Can I buy gel crystals and solution refills without a membership?

Yes and no. The Winter + Dry Climate solution always includes a gel packet in the box when purchased on its own — that's the one way to get gel outside the membership; the solución habitual ships as solution only. Hydro Channels y hygrometer batteries are also available individually. For long-term, hassle-free maintenance, the Afiliación a Klaro is by far the most economical route — a full year of solution, gel and a fresh battery in one shipment.

Sizing & Capacity
How many cigars will my humidor really hold?

Check the Capacidad tab on your humidor's product page — every model lists its own numbers there. As a rule of thumb, listed capacities are based on robusto-sized cigars (around 5 x 50): if your rotation leans toward toros and Churchills, expect to fit roughly 25–30% fewer, and box-pressed shapes and larger ring gauges take more room again. Our honest advice: pick the size that fits the collection you want a year from now, not the one you have today.

Will 7-inch Churchills fit?

Yes — in our desktop glass-top humidors, Churchill-length cigars fit sideways across the interior. If long vitolas are your staple, we recommend the Military, the Luca cabinet, or any of our larger humidors, which give 7-inch-plus cigars a natural home without any puzzle-fitting. For travel, the Maxwell handles Churchills; the Flint and pocket cases top out around 6.5 inches.

Which humidor should I choose?

A quick guide from thousands of customer setups: starting out or keeping 25–50 cigars on a desk, the Renzo glass top is our classic. Building a serious collection? The Luca cabinet stores hundreds with room to age. Want set-and-forget temperature control? That's the Fridgador family. And if you want the best of the best, our luxury line — the Onyx, Felix MAX, Luca MAX and Signature — is Case Elegance craftsmanship at its peak. Browse the full lineup here.

Good To Know
¿Cuántos cigarros debería guardar en mi humidor?

We recommend storing about half the maximum capacity in your humidor and rotating your cigars a couple times a month.

For your model's exact numbers by cigar size, check the Capacidad tab on its product page.

Leaving the cellophane on the cigar does allow for more handling without damage and helps keep tobacco flavors from mingling inside the humidor. Personally, we leave the wrappers on — but to each his own.

Why are Case Elegance humidors the best on the market?

How much of each sale goes towards Wounded Warrior?

First, thanks so much for your service. We really wanted to do something to commemorate veterans and we are happy we are able to use this product to give back. We donate a portion of the profits (~10%) from every Military humidor — roughly $5 - $10 per box. We make our donations each January and announce the specific amount donated. You can see our past donations for planting trees verified Aquí - hasta la fecha hemos plantado 150.000 árboles!

Where should I place my humidor?

Away from direct sunlight, first and foremost — sun through a window heats the interior, fades wrappers, and a glass lid amplifies the effect. Avoid spots above radiators, near vents, or in rooms with big temperature swings. An interior wall in a room that stays between 65–72°F is ideal. Basements work well; garages and sunrooms usually don't.

Should I open my humidor every so often to air it out?

If you're reaching in for a cigar every week or two, that's all the fresh air it needs. If a humidor sits sealed and untouched for a month or more, open the lid for a minute or two every few weeks — a little air exchange keeps the interior smelling like cedar rather than going stale. Brief openings won't hurt your humidity; it recovers within the hour.

Do any of your humidors lock?

Nothing in the lineup locks with a key. The Military series closes with hefty steel latches, and our cabinets keep collections behind a closed door — but we've deliberately skipped locks. In our experience they add daily friction without adding real security, and we trust you to decide where your collection lives. If it truly needs securing, a locked cabinet or office does the job better than any small box lock could.

Can I buy replacement parts — trays, dividers, hygrometers?

Many parts are available right on the site: the Bandeja hidráulica, Hydro Channels, an extra Military storage tray, the Felix acrylic divider y hygrometer batteries. For anything not listed — hygrometers, dividers, drawer parts — email us with your order number. We keep spares of most components, and we'd much rather repair your humidor than see it replaced.

Is the Smoke Can a real ammo can?

It is — a genuine M2A1-style steel ammunition can, refitted with a Spanish cedar sleeve and a humidification system. Snap the latch and the rubber gasket gives you a truly airtight seal, which makes it the humidor we recommend for garages, boats, camps and anywhere a wooden box wouldn't be happy. It pairs perfectly with humidity packs.

How does the Cylindor store cigars?

Vertically — the Cylindor is a glass jar humidor with a real wood lid and an integrated hygrometer, storing roughly 30 toros standing upright. The glass jar is airtight and needs no seasoning itself, so it runs beautifully on humidity packs, and the vertical format makes it easy to see and grab exactly the cigar you want.

Klaro Valet & App

App Basics

The Klaro app works by connecting to your humidor's Klaro Valet — a BLE hygrometer and Wi-Fi bridge — which collects and transmits humidity and temperature data to your phone. The app presents that data in an easy-to-understand format.

¿Es gratuita la aplicación Klaro?

The Klaro app is free to download. You'll need the Klaro Valet hardware (BLE hygrometer + Wi-Fi bridge), and live readings work without paying anything more. For extended history and other premium features, there's an optional Klaro App Subscription ($4.99/year).

Is the Klaro app available on both iPhone and Android?

Yes — the Klaro app is available for both iOS and Android, with the same features on both platforms. Download it here:

Download on the App Store

Klaro takes privacy and data security seriously. The app uses encryption protocols to protect your information. Additionally, Klaro does not share your data wi

You can reach out to Klaro's customer support by visiting the Help screen within the app or by calling +1 (317) 530-3002, or emailing support@caseelegance.com

Membership & Pricing
What's included in the Klaro Membership?

One annual shipment with everything a year of humidor upkeep needs. The Normal Climate kit includes two bottles of regular solution, two bottles of Winter + Dry Climate solution, two gel packets and fresh hygrometer batteries. The Dry Climate kit swaps the mix to four Winter + Dry Climate bottles for homes in arid regions. There's also a Humidity Pack Membership — six Integra 69% packs plus a battery — for airtight models like the Felix, Cylindor and Smoke Can.

Does the membership auto-renew? Can I skip a year or cancel?

Yes — it renews once a year, and yes, you're in control. You can skip a shipment or cancel anytime before your renewal date from your account, or just email support@caseelegance.com and we'll handle it for you. No hoops.

Which membership mix should I choose — Normal or Dry Climate?

Go by your home, not your zip code alone. If your indoor air regularly sits below about 40% humidity — desert states, high altitude, or long heating seasons — choose the Dry Climate kit. If your home stays modera

Why can I only see 24 hours of history in the app?

Storing and charting months of sensor readings takes real infrastructure — secure cloud storage and a dedicated development team continually improving the app — so the extended history views are part of the app subscription, which is priced to cover those costs rather than to profit from them. The free tier keeps the essentials: live readings and alerts, so if your humidor ever leaves its safe range, you'll know.

Setup & Connectivity
How do I set up the Klaro app for my Klaro humidor?

To set up the Klaro app, you need to connect the BLE hygrometer and Wi-Fi bridge by following the in-app instructions. Once you launch the app and sign up, it will guide you through the process of pairing your devices.

Can I use the Klaro app without the Klaro Valet BLE hygrometer or Wi-Fi bridge?

No, the Klaro app relies on our BLE hygrometer and Wi-Fi bridge to gather humidity and temperature readings from your humidor. Without these two devices, the app won't be able to provide you with accurate, real-time data.

How close does the Klaro Valet Wi-Fi bridge need to be to the Wi-Fi Router?

The bridge connects to your router over standard home Wi-Fi, so anywhere w

How close does the Klaro Valet Wi-Fi bridge need to be to my humidor?

Mi puente Wi-Fi no parpadea

First, plug in the device. If the light is flashing red, press and hold the button on the back for 3 seconds until you see the light flash green. If it doesn't change, unplug the bridge and plug it back in, then restart the setup process in the app.

Can the Klaro app be used away from my home Wi-Fi?

If the Wi-Fi connection is lost or unstable, the Klaro app will not be able to receive real-time humidity and temperature data. However, it will continue to display the most recent readings (in gray) until the connection is restored.

My Valet keeps disconnecting, or the readings stopped updating. What should I try?

Work through this list — it resolves the vast majority of cases: 1) unplug the Wi-Fi bridge for ten seconds and plug it back in; 2) confirm your router's 2.4GHz network is on (the b

How do I replace my hygrometer with a new one in the app?

Open your humidor in the app, remove the old hygrometer from its settings, then run the add-device flow to pair the new one — your humidor's history stays put. If the remove option is grayed out, email support@caseelegance.com with your account email and we'll clear it from our side.

Features & Monitoring

Yes, in the Klaro app go to Settings > Seasoning & Calibration, then select the desired humidity percentage under Manually Calibrate Hygrometer.

Can I monitor multiple humidors with the Klaro app?

Yes — with the latest update you can monitor as many humidors as you'd like from one account. Each Wi-Fi bridge supports up to three units, so larger collections just need an additional bridge.

Can I receive alerts or notificat

Yes, the Klaro app allows you to set up customizable alerts and notifications. This feature ensures that you stay informed when your humidor's humidity or temperature moves outside your desired range.

Can the Klaro app catalog the cigars in my humidor?

Yes — add them to your journal in the app by typing the name and quantity.

Can I change the temperature units?

With the app open, readings refresh about every 30 seconds — the app asks your Wi-Fi bridge for a live reading straight from the hygrometer. When the app is closed, the Valet still checks in on its own a few times a day, and those readings feed your history charts.

Why does my Valet read a few percent lower than my other hygrometer?

Two accurate instruments can still disagree. The Valet's sensor is rated to about ±3%, as is virtually every consumer hygrometer, so a 4–5% spread between two devices is within their combined tolerance. Placement adds to it — a sensor near a gasket or wall samples slightly different air than one on the middle shelf. If you want them singing in tune, calibrate both against the same 75% reference and trust the calibrated pair.

Can I set my own target humidity and temperature for alerts?

Alert ranges are managed in the app under your humidor's settings — if you store at 65% rather than the classic 70/70, set your range there and notifications will follow your numbers instead of nagging you about a 'problem' that's actually your preference. Don't see the option? Update to the latest version of the app, and if it's still missing on your device, email us — we'll get you squared away.

Is the Android app the same as the iOS app?

Yes — the Android and iOS apps are now equivalent: live readings, alerts, history and the full feature set on both platforms. If anything looks different on your device, make sure you're on the latest version, and if something still seems off, email us a screenshot and we'll take care of it.

Fridgador & Electric

What temperature and humidity should I set my Fridgador to?

65°F and 65% humidity is the sweet spot for most collections — cool enough to slow aging and deter beetles, humid enough for a perfect burn. In warm or humid climates, run the humidity a touch lower (60–63%), since the cooling cycle itself adds moisture to the cabinet. We don't recommend going below 60°F; cigars age best with a little warmth.

Does a Fridgador need to be seasoned?

No — that's one of the perks. The Fridgador has a large basin at the bottom that you fill with distilled water, and it delivers more than enough humidity from day one without the long seasoning soak a solid-cedar box requires. Fill the basin, set your targets, give it a day or two to stabilize, and load your cigars.

The water level in my Fridgador loo

The water in the basin should sit fairly level. A slight variation in the liquid from one side to the other is common and nothing to worry about. If you're seeing pronounced pooling or water collecting somewhere it clearly shouldn't be, snap a photo and email us — we'll take a look.

Pro tip: add about half a bottle of regular Klaro solution to the basin along with your distilled water — the alcohol in the mix keeps the water clean and trouble-free.

How often do I refill the water tank?

It depends on your climate and how often the door opens, but most owners land between every one and three months — larger cabinets in stable rooms stretch the longest. Check weekly for the first month to learn your cabinet's rhythm, then relax into its schedule. Distilled water only, always.

How do the large Airo cabinets ship?

By freight, strapped to a pallet — these are heavy, furniture-class pieces, so they travel curbside with a liftgate rather than in a parcel van. After you order, we'll reach out to schedule your delivery. What happens if the compressor fails?

Your Fridgador comes with a one-year warranty covering the compressor and electronics — just make sure you've registered your warranty after purchase. If anything fails, email support@caseelegance.com with your order number and a quick description (video helps), and we'll troubleshoot, repair or replace.

Watch Boxes & Leather

The embedded magnets in the lid and base of our watch box are very small (6 gauss), and the force of those magnets is also small. All modern watches are designed to withstand at minimum 20 gauss, with most able to withstand 60 gauss before magnetization occurs.

We've tested the magnets on hundreds of watch brands, including Rolex timepieces, and have never once magnetized a watch.

Our leather is some of the finest in the world. We use sophisticated oil-pulling methods to make sure every journal, passport wallet and duffel looks its best.

We recommend using mink oil to refresh the leather on your product, no more than once yearly.

Will larger watches — 44mm and up — fit the slots?

Yes. The slots and pillows comfortably take 44mm cases, and customers regularly store 48–52mm divers by alternating watch orientation between neighboring slots. The pillows are firm but compressible, sized for roughly 6–8 inch wrist straps; for smaller straps, buckle the band a notch tighter around the pillow for a snug display fit.

Encendedores

How do I bleed and fill my lighter?

2- Always fill your lighter in a well-ventilated area away from any heat source, sparks or flame.

3- To fill, hold the lighter upside down and insert the butane can's tip directly onto the fuel valve. Press down firmly for about 5 seconds.

How can I tell when my lighter is fully fueled?

Hold the lighter up to the light and check the fuel window — fill in short bursts with the lighter upside down, pausing between bursts, until fuel sits near the top of the window or the valve starts to sputter back. Let it rest a minute or two before your first light so the butane settles. If the flame runs weak even when full, it's time to bleed and refill.

Travel Cases

How long will cigars stay fresh in a travel case?

Sealed up on their own, our cases keep cigars in perfect smoking shape for a few days — plenty for most trips. Add a small humidity pack and you're comfortably covered for a week or more. For anything longer, re-home the cigars into a humidor at your destination.

Where does the humidity pack go?

The Flint leather case has a mesh pocket sized for a pack; in the Maxwell, lay a slim pack flat along the interior; and in the 2- and 3-cigar pocket cases, slide a small 8-gram pack in alongside the cigars. Any two-way pack in the 65–72% range works.

What's the biggest cigar that fits each case?

Quick reference: the 2-cigar pocket case takes up to a 56 ring gauge; the 3-cigar case handles cigars up to about 6.5 inches; the Flint leather case comfortably fits up to 6.5 inches — 60-gauge sticks fit too, though the fit runs slightly snug; and the Maxwell is the road humidor of the group — it swallows Churchills and holds eight robustos, or fewer larger sticks. If your daily smoke is an 8-inch giant, email us before ordering and we'll confirm fit.

My monogram arrived wrong or misspelled. What now?

Email us a photo along with your order number. If the engraving doesn't match what you entered at checkout, we'll remake it free of charge, no back-and-forth. If a typo slipped into the order itself, reach out anyway — we'll always find a fair way to make it right. It's also why we confirm the inscription on your order confirmation, so give it a quick glance after ordering.

Do you ship solution and refills internationally?

Within the U.S., everything ships directly from our warehouse. For Canada, our consumables (solution, gel, humidity packs) are typically most affordable through our official Amazon.ca listings — email us and we'll send you the current links. For other countries, reach out first; we'll tell you honestly what ships well and what doesn't.

What does the warranty cover, and how do I make a claim?

We cover manufacturing defects — hygrometers, electronics, compressors and structural issues — as well as damage in transit. One important step: make sure you register your warranty when your order arrives. To make a claim, email support@caseelegance.com with your order number, photos or video of the issue, and a sentence on what's happening. Most claims are resolved with a replacement part or unit within a couple of business days.
