Does the Felix Max need to be seasoned?
Not the way a full-wood humidor does. The acrylic body does not drink humidity, so add the humidity pack, let the interior stabilize, and watch the digital hygrometer before loading your cigars.
How do I control the LED lighting?
Use the Klaro app on iPhone or Android to set any RGB color, adjust brightness, and save presets. Or press the button on the base to cycle colors, change brightness, or turn the lights off. Both work independently.
When should I add more humidity?
Check the digital hygrometer. When readings drop below your target range, typically 65–72% RH, refresh your humidity source. Most owners check every 2–4 weeks depending on climate.
How do I calibrate the hygrometer?
Place the hygrometer in a sealed bag with a small cup of salt mixed with a few drops of water. After 6 hours the reading should be 75%. Adjust with the calibration button if needed.
Does the LED affect humidity or temperature?
The LED system produces minimal heat and does not materially affect storage conditions inside the humidor.
Should I remove the cellophane from my cigars?
Either way works. Cellophane is porous enough for humidity. Leaving it on protects cigars during handling; removing it allows more cedar aroma absorption.
How is the Felix Max powered?
USB-C, with an extra-long 10 ft cable and adapter included, so it can sit on a desk, bar, or shelf without an extension cord.
