5mm Spanish cedar
Most makers use a fraction of a millimeter of cedar; Klaro uses 5mm Spanish cedar coaming. Thicker cedar needs more moisture to stabilize during seasoning — but once it does, you get real cedar and real consistency.

Why Do We Have A Humidity Pack Subscription?
For models designed around hermetic-style seals — the Felix Max, Signature, e Cylindor — we also offer a humidity pack subscription. These use glass or plexiglass enclosures with extremely tight seals and less exposed cedar to season, so packs are often the better fit for ongoing maintenance. The subscription keeps the right packs on hand automatically — no reorder reminders needed.
Glass-sealed models like the Felix Max, Signature, e Cylindor use less cedar, so humidity packs suit them better. For those, our pack subscription keeps the right packs on hand automatically.

I have ordered 6 of these to customize and send out to some of our partners. They have raved about the humidors. They thought they were the coolest they had ever seen. Not only that, but I live in Colorado and it is very dry here. Jon, one of their customer service people has worked with me to troubleshoot and dial in my humidity level. It was tricky because of the changing seasons. He even followed up with me several times to make sure it was all working. I love when a company stands behind their product and helps you when you have an issue. Thanks so much, Jon! I will be ordering more.

CanadaGreat humidor but better yet... great customer service!
Very-very pleased with the Military glass top humidor. After fighting for years with two other humidors, I discovered this one two years ago. Trouble free using both Klaro humidor solutions : "regular" for summer and "dry" for our Canadian winters. Works wonders. But best of all, Klaro has one of the best customer/support services I've ever come across. If you have questions about humidity levels - or anything else - requests are answered promptly and intelligently. You even get follow up e-mails enquiring if all is working to satisfaction. As a bonus their website is great : full of instructive articles and helpful videos. Honestly, you can't go wrong.

Great experience. I’ve had this for about a year now, living in the north east. It really maintains humidity well. The cedar interior is excellent. I went through the traditional process of seasoning per instructions for weeks. Once it was holding humidity well, I switched to boveda 69 packs. The humidity stays within 68-69. I’ve testing it with two more rh meters and it’s spot on. The integral digital rh meter is one or two points low. Enjoy

I have contacted customer service three times, not because something was wrong with the humidor, but because I had a question. The latest one was, I needed to change the hygrometer battery and couldn't quite figure out how to do it. The instructions are clear but because the seal around the hygrometer is so good, you have to push hard to get it out and I was afraid I was doing it wrong and it would break. Jon from customer service answered my question quickly and provided written instructions as well as a website for me to go and see exactly how to do it. He then followed up to make sure I was able to replace the battery. As mentioned, this is the third time I have contacted them and each time I have received the information I needed quickly. Not to mention the military humidor is gorgeous and keeps my cigars perfectly within the recommended range. I highly recommend this humidor, or any product from Case Elegance, great company which I think is obvious based on, at the time I am writing this, there are 82 ratings, 81 five star ratin
