I bought a 10-pack Boveda 62% RH, or it came with the original order. How do I fill the humidor solution? Also, the solution jar should be on the bottom interior of the humidor, I assume. I treated my humidor this evening using two of the 62% boveda gel packs. Should I leave the top open or close it? I am also not sure what to do with the 2" gold mesh disc. I will order the membership as you recommend in your website. I'll retreat the interior when I receive my order. Last, thank you so much for helping me to obtain one of the digital hygrometers. That is super service!

Hi Richard, thanks for your question!

For the description, I think you have a Mag humidor. If you are using Boveda packs and our system, I'd recommend to use only one of those.

For our jar system, the solution should be in the jar along with the beads, this jar should be at the bottom of the humidor. Open the black lid, but leave the transparent one with the little holes.

Hello - I have the Octodor Humidor, and I live in Pennsylvania. My Humidor stays inside my apartment which is around 1000 sq. ft. and typically kept around 69-71 degrees inside my apartment. The humidor with normal solution has been fluctuating a bit, usually between 66-68%, should I switch to the dry climate solution if my apartment is normally kept at 69-71 degrees? Hope that makes sense! Thanks. -Jeff

Hi Jeff, Ii think you are doing great with regular solution. This one stops evaporating at 70F. Also 66-68% is a great range after seasoned. If you want to give it a boost, you can add half regular solution half winter solution to your tray.
