あなたの Felix Max is a humidity-pack driven humidor, so seasoning is refreshingly simple — no solutions, no hydro system to wait on. Follow the steps below and you'll be ready to store in minutes, not days.
Important Notes
- Keep your Felix Max as close to 70°F as possible. A stable temperature keeps your humidity packs working evenly.
- Never place the humidor in direct sunlight — it rapidly dries out the interior.
- The Felix Max uses 69% humidity packs (at least 60g each). Winter and dry climates may call for additional packs.
Seasoning Your Felix Max
- Temporarily remove the top trays and the Spanish cedar bottom storage tray.
- Place your 69% humidity pack flat on the base. Running low on packs? The Klaro Humidity Pack Membership ships fresh 69% packs to your door once a year — sealed airtight and perfect until you open them.
- Reinstall the trays and Spanish cedar.
- If you live in a dry or winter climate, add additional packs in the top trays or beneath the cedar tray for extra humidity.
- Close the lid and let the interior stabilize. Once the reading holds in the 65–72% range, your Felix Max is ready for cigars.
Dry seasons or arid climates may require more than one pack to reach and hold your target range.
Getting the Most From Your Felix Max With the Klaro App
Download the Klaro app and connect over Bluetooth (BLE) to control your Felix Max — no bridge or subscription needed.
- Control your lighting from your phone. Adjust the LED lighting over Bluetooth with far more freedom than the on-board button.
Out of the box, the Felix Max does ノット include in-app humidity and temperature tracking — the included digital hygrometer reads right on the unit.
Felix Max exclusive — upgrade to Smart Valet tracking. You can upgrade your Felix Max hygrometer to a BLE-enabled model that unlocks Smart Valet: live humidity and temperature tracking, right from the Klaro app. As of now, this hygrometer upgrade is available only on the Felix Max.
Questions & Answers
How many humidity packs does the Felix Max need?
Start with one 69% pack (60g or larger). In dry or winter climates, add a second pack in the top tray or beneath the cedar tray to hold your target range.
What humidity should I keep my Felix Max at?
Aim to store cigars in the 65–72% range. Wait until the reading holds steady in that range before adding cigars.
Can I track humidity and temperature from the Klaro app?
Not out of the box — the included hygrometer reads on the unit. Upgrade to the BLE-enabled hygrometer to unlock Smart Valet (live humidity and temperature in the app). This upgrade is currently available only on the Felix Max.
Does the Klaro app control the lighting?
Yes. Download the app and connect over Bluetooth to control the LED lighting with more freedom than the on-board button.
Can I use Boveda packs?
Yes — Boveda packs work just fine in the Felix Max. If you'd rather not think about humidity packs at all, the Klaro Humidity Pack Membership automates it for you — fresh 69% packs delivered once a year, sealed and ready.
How do I keep humidity up in winter?
Add extra packs, keep the box near 70°F, and keep it away from heat vents, exterior walls, and direct sunlight.
