Votre Signature is a humidity-pack driven humidor, so seasoning is refreshingly simple — no solutions, no hydro system to wait on. Because it's a larger box with generous shelves and a solid Spanish cedar base, it just needs a little more humidity to get going. Follow the steps below and you'll be ready to store in minutes.

Important Notes

• Keep your Signature as close to 70°F as possible. A stable temperature keeps your humidity packs working evenly.
• Never place the humidor in direct sunlight — it rapidly dries out the interior.
• The Signature uses 69% humidity packs (at least 60g each). With its larger shelves and solid cedar base — a lot more cedar to condition — plan on about four packs: two under the very bottom cedar tray, and one under each of the two stackable interior shelves — both to season and to maintain. Winter and dry climates may call for even more.

Seasoning Your Signature

1. Open the lid and lift out the two stackable interior shelves, then remove the very bottom cedar tray.
2. Place two 69% humidity packs (60g or larger) flat in the base, then set the bottom cedar tray back over them. Running low on packs? The Klaro Humidity Pack Membership ships fresh 69% packs to your door once a year — sealed airtight and perfect until you open them.
3. Tuck one 69% pack under the cedar tray of each of the two stackable interior shelves — one pack per shelf — then return the shelves to the box. That's four packs in total.
4. If you live in a dry or winter climate, add additional packs alongside the others for extra humidity.
5. Close the lid and let the interior stabilize. Once the reading holds in the 65–72% range, your Signature is ready for cigars.

All that solid cedar will keep drinking in moisture for the first week or two — keep an eye on your reading and top up packs as needed until it settles.

Calibration

Your Signature ships pre-calibrated from the factory, so in almost every case you'll never need to touch this. Do not recalibrate unless you're certain it's needed.

If you do need to recalibrate:

1. Let the humidor stabilize and confirm it's truly reading 70% on a trusted reference hygrometer.
2. Press and hold the touch-sensitive area on the front fabric for about 5 seconds.
3. The on-unit reading will snap to 70%, setting your new calibration baseline.

Using Your On-Board LED Button

Prefer to set your lighting right on the unit? The on-board button handles it — no phone needed.

• Brightness & off: a quick press steps through the brightness levels and then turns the light off.
• Change the color: press and hold for about 3 seconds — the light flashes three times, then begins cycling through the colors. When it lands on a color you like, take your finger off; the light blinks three times to confirm your selection.

How the Proximity Sensor Works

Out of the box, your Signature uses motion sensing to trigger the LED lighting, the front hygromètre numérique, and its electrochromic glass top — they wake as you approach and settle back after a stretch

You can set the LEDs to stay always on ou always off if you prefer. The front hygrometer stays motion-triggered — that behavior is fixed: it lights up when it senses you and fades again once the room is still. The Signature's electrochromic glass works on the same trigger — it turns clear when it detects you, then returns to its tinted, private state after a set period with no motion.
