What does the proximity sensor do?
As you approach, Onyx welcomes you with a soft glow. Open the lid and the interior LEDs illuminate your collection.

How is On

Does Onyx need to stay plugged in?
Yes. The proximity lighting, interior LEDs, display, and Smart Valet monitoring need power. An extra-long 10 ft USB-C cable is included.
Does Onyx need seasoning?
Yes. Season the Spanish cedar before adding your cigars. Follow the guided seasoning instructions in the Klaro app and use the built-in hygrometer to monitor humidity throughout the process.
Is humidification included?
Yes. Two Hydro Channels are included for multi-level humidity management. For ongoing refills, explore our Solution Subscription.
Can Onyx be used without the app?
Yes. Use the built-in buttons to change light colors and adjust brightness—no app required. The Klaro app adds humidity and temperature monitoring, collection tracking, and lighting control from your phone.
What ships with Onyx?
Onyx includes two movable Spanish cedar shelves, a single peg-system divider, two Hydro Channels, a three-cigar travel case, built-in Smart Valet, and a USB-C power cable.
What can I monitor and control from my phone?
The Klaro app lets you monitor temperature and humidity, track your collection, and control lighting. You can also change light colors and brightness using the built-in buttons.
Can I rearrange the interior?
